Responsibilities
- Facilitate physician performance of invasive, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Maintain quality patient care during the operative procedure and monitor the sterile field at all times.
- Assist with setup, instrument passing, counts, and coordination of supplies for each case.
- Support the surgical team in instrument management and turnover between cases.
- Observe patient safety, communicate any concerns to the team, and help ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.

Requirements
- Certification: Surgical Technologist certification (CST) or equivalent (as applicable)
- Experience: Prior operating room experience or exposure to surgical procedures preferred
- Education: Postsecondary training in surgical technology; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Working environment: Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Travel eligibility: Willingness and ability to participate in a travel assignment
