Automotive Recycling Worker

PeopleReady of Waite Park, MN is now hiring Automotive Recycling Workers in Litchfield, MN! The ideal candidate will assist with dismantling vehicles, organizing parts, maintaining yard cleanliness, and supporting daily operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - #20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an  Automotive Recycling Worker :

• Organize parts inventory in the yard and warehouse
• Load and unload vehicles, parts, and scrap materials
• Assist customers in locating and retrieving parts from the yard
• Operate loaders, track skid or other heavy equipment as needed
• Prepping vehicles for loads
• Weighing and sorting metals
• Perform general yard cleanup and maintenance
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Available shifts:

Shift Timings : 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with vehicles a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in environment with exposure to vehicle fluids, dust, and noise
• Ability to work in outdoor yard and warehouse settings
• Ability to work full time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role that requires manual labor, including frequent bending, twisting, and turning, as well as lifting and standing for extended periods
• Background check and drug screening required
