Job Description

This entry-level warehouse role is ideal for dependable individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a team-oriented environment. You will support daily warehouse operations such as packing, inventory, shipping, and receiving while developing new skills through cross-training. No prior technical experience is required, but you should bring a strong work ethic, adaptability, and a willingness to take initiative and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Perform general warehouse duties including packing, packaging, loading, and material handling.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing, labeling, and organizing outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Support inventory tasks by counting, organizing, and tracking products and materials as directed.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment after proper training.
• Follow established safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Handle materials and products carefully to ensure quality, accuracy, and minimal damage.
• Use basic math and measurement skills to support packing, inventory, and other technical tasks as needed.
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors, ask questions when unsure, and actively participate in training.
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.
• Assist with additional tasks and cross-training opportunities as requested to support overall warehouse efficiency.

• Previous experience in labor, warehouse, construction, or similar environments is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The warehouse is climate-controlled, providing a comfortable and consistent working environment. You will work on-site with a team, using standard warehouse tools and equipment such as pallet jacks and packing materials, and follow established safety and operational procedures throughout your shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Garland, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
