Overview
Surgical Tech – Travel assignment in Hamilton, NY, US. Start date: 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,895–$1,937 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 am–5:30 pm). Hospital setting focused on operative services with multiple operating rooms.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist in the operating room across multiple rooms, maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments as needed.
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs, manage instrument counts, and ensure proper handling of implants and supplies.
- Prepare and drape patients, assist with positioning, and facilitate safe patient transport to the PACU when applicable.
- Maintain OR readiness, including equipment setup, room turnover, and adherence to infection control standards.
- Document intraoperative details using paper charting; assist with ordering using the Sorian system when required.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team to support safe, efficient case flow in a high-demand environment.

Requirements
- Certification: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a hospital OR environment supporting multiple rooms and procedures.
- Knowledge of sterile technique, instrument handling, and intraoperative documentation.
- Experience in a surgical scrub role is preferred; familiarity with paper charting and ordering systems (Sorian) is a plus.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to meet the assignment’s start date and schedule.
