Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: NC or Compact License Pending OK for Submittal Certifications: BCLS, PALS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience required - Pediatric experience required - Ability to administer chemotherapy - Certification in pediatric chemotherapy preferred Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may potentially result in cancellation. Traveler experience is accepted with a minimum of 2 years. Locals are accepted, though rate differences may apply. Skills required include administering chemotherapy, central line care, isolation precautions, and monitoring chemotherapy patients. Preferred skills include IV start and lab draw, as well as experience in pediatric oncology. Target patient ratios are 1:5-6. Unit accepts a 13-week contract with 36 hours offered per week. Floating to other units is required. Every other weekend availability is necessary. Patients will include ages 0-17 with medical surgical diagnoses and hematology/oncology conditions. Daily census will include approximately 24 patients. All required testing must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Candidates must be open to floating within and near the facility. Travel pairs are allowed as long as they are on different units. References can be pending at submission. Modules are required but will be non-billable. About Cynet Health
