This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

If so, Incoming Mail Operations is looking for a strong, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to work independently processing and distributing DMV documents and products to internal and external customers. Mailroom Office Assistants efficiently sort large volumes of mail for delivery; regularly lift and transport bulk mail and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.; drive a messenger vehicle to and from other departments to deliver and receive various types of mail; and establish effective working relationships with management, customers, and coworkers to create a positive team environment. Office hours vary from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm. Must be able to regularly lift and transport bulk mail and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.
