Some of the typical school assignments are: 🚌 Bus Transportation Nurse (RN & LPN) The nurse will ride with one or more students on the school bus to monitor the child and provide necessary assistance with medication. Nurses are paid a fixed rate for each bus ride and you can choose whether you want to work the morning ride, afternoon ride, or both. These assignments are available to those with a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. 🏥 Substitute School Nurse (RN) Support students in the school health office during the school day. This is paid hourly and most schools require a Registered Nurse (RN) for these assignments. 👩⚕️ One-on-One (1:1) School Nurse (RN) The nurse will accompany a specific student during the entire school day to manage medication and assist with other medical needs. These assignments are paid hourly and most schools require a Registered Nurse (RN). 🎒 Field Trips & Special Events (RN & LPN) The nurse will accompany a group of students during their transportation to and from off-campus locations.
