About the RoleWe are seeking a licensed Staff Pharmacist to join a hospital pharmacy team on a 7-on/7-off night shift schedule . This position is ideal for an experienced hospital pharmacist who thrives in an independent overnight setting while collaborating with Certified Pharmacy Technicians to provide safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care.
ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, and accurately dispense medication orders in accordance with physician prescriptions and hospital policies.
Monitor patient medication therapy to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment outcomes.
Provide drug information and medication counseling to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Respond to medication-related emergencies and support clinical care with timely pharmaceutical interventions.
Maintain accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, medication inventory, and quality standards while supervising overnight pharmacy operations.
Active Ohio Pharmacist License in good standing is required.
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program.
Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required.
Strong knowledge of inpatient medication management, pharmacy regulations, and clinical pharmacy practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills.
