Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience with site development design for residential, commercial, mixed-use, multi-family, and municipal facilities including parks, greenways, and streetscapes; or any combination of these within and outside the Chattanooga, TN region. You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals operating in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace. Through a collaborative design process, our Landscape Architects, Architects, and Engineers are engaged to develop creative and sustainable design solutions with technical proficiency while adhering to regulatory requirements for a variety of private and public sector projects.

Primary responsibilities for this position are to assist project managers in the design and production of site plan drawings including the development of site layout and grading plans, landscape plans, stormwater management plans and construction details for parks, trails, campuses, civic spaces, and residential projects.

Duties

  • Use multi-media tools to create functional and attractive design solutions.
  • Collaborate with fellow landscape architects, engineers, and planners in a team fashion.
  • Assist multiple project teams with digital production of plans, graphics, and reports.
  • Perform project management and/or assistant project management roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture.
  • Minimum 4 years of solid hands-on work experience in a professional landscape design consulting environment, architecture design preferred.
  • Attractive graphic presentation and rendering skills, as demonstrated by a portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time management skills and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop, Civil 3D, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Licensure to practice landscape architecture.
