JOB SUMMARY: An Inventory Associate is responsible for cycle counting, justification and accuracy of all distribution locations.
Responsibilities
- Ability to locate all physical locations.
- Verify quantity, item, and description.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, use of calculator helpful.
- Ability to lift up to 50-pound boxes and remain on feet for entire shift.
- Ability to us a handheld device (RF unit) and computer
- Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and communicate in a timely fashion.
- Confer and correspond with manager to rectify problems, such as damages, invalid UPCs, and transacting zero qty on hand inventory.
- Follow proper administration and general confidentiality, safety and security procedures and standards.
- Actively promote an environment and culture focused on customer service, safety, diversity, and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Ability to work to be exposed to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.
- Minimum of 1 year of Inventory experience
- Possess good communication skills.
- Exhibit basic problem-solving skills, to determine root cause, and propose possible solution.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Experience using RF devices.
- Good computer skills.
- Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred but not required.
