- True Work-Life Balance: 3rd Shift (11:20 PM – 7:10 AM) running Sunday through Thursday. You are off every Friday morning and don’t return until Sunday night.

What You’ll Be Doing As the electrical heartbeat of the facility during 3rd shift, you will:
- Master the Logic: Use your laptop to go online with PLC systems to diagnose faults and isolate inputs/outputs.
- Control the Power: Install, program, and troubleshoot VFDs, AC/DC motors, and Servo drives.
- Solve the Puzzle: Use blueprints and schematics to trace circuits to the component level and get machines back online.
- Support the Shop: While you are the electrical expert, you’ll jump in on mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic fixes when the team needs it.
What You Bring to the Table
- Expertise: At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience (Machinery, 480V, Control Circuits).
- Toolbox: You have your own tools and a deep mechanical aptitude.
- The "Tech" Factor: Proficiency with electrical test instruments and PLC diagnostic software.
- Certifications: Ability to operate scissor/boom lifts and forklifts safely.
- Education: A trade school certificate or degree in Industrial Electrical Systems is highly preferred.

- Location: De Soto, KS (Conveniently located for commuters from KC, Lawrence, or Olathe).
- Shift: 11:20 PM – 7:10 AM (Sunday – Thursday).

Responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance: Provide comprehensive maintenance support for all facility and production areas, focusing on electrical and electronic system reliability.
- Diagnostics & Repair: Isolate and repair electrical/electronic control circuits down to the component level.
- Technical Documentation: Utilize blueprints, schematics, and circuit diagrams to effectively troubleshoot and solve complex machinery issues.
- PLC Systems: Use laptop-based diagnostic tools to analyze PLC inputs/outputs, identify faults, and perform problem isolation.
- Drive & Motor Control: Install, replace, and program VFD, DC, and Servo drives/amplifiers to factory specifications.
- Control Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC power circuits, sensors, heating circuits, and temperature feedback devices.
- Mechanical Cross-Support: Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting as directed to support overall production efficiency.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 5 hours at one time
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
