Responsibilities
The
Import/Export Logistics Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between customers, operations teams, carriers, and customs agencies to ensure the seamless movement of international inbound and outbound freight. Based in our Doral branch—a premier gateway for international trade—this role transitions hands-on industry knowledge into an office environment, managing shipment documentation, tracking cargo, and maintaining high customer service standards.
Qualifications & Requirements - Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations, logistics, or customer service (warehouse-to-office transitions welcome).
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry/ Cargorwise experience a strong plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with basic shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Air Waybills, Customs documents) is a strong plus.
- Languages: English fluency required; bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Key Traits: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective written and verbal communication skill
