Job Title: Graphic Designer

Location: Cincinnati Ohio 45202

Pay Rate: $34/hr. on W2
Duration: 6 months contract
Shift: 8AM - 5PM | Mon - Fr

Position summary:

1. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop engaging visual content across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience creating compelling brand assets for packaging, marketing campaigns, eCommerce, social media, and promotional materials while maintaining brand consistency.
2. This role requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles, digital design, UI fundamentals, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop creative concepts and visual designs for digital and print media.
2. Design marketing collateral, packaging, promotional materials, eCommerce assets, social media content, and visual communications.
3. Ensure all creative work aligns with established brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
4. Create layouts, illustrations, graphics, and production-ready artwork.
5. Collaborate with marketing, product, UX/UI designers, and other creative teams to deliver effective design solutions.
6. Present and communicate design concepts, creative rationale, and visual direction to stakeholders.
7. Support digital product initiatives by creating UI mockups, design assets, simple prototypes, and development-ready files.
8. Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback into final deliverables.
9. Apply UX/UI design principles to create intuitive and visually engaging user experiences.
10. Stay current with industry trends, emerging design technologies, and AI-enabled creative tools.
11. Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
2. 2 6 years of professional graphic design experience (excluding freelance-only experience).
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating creative excellence, branding, typography, layout, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.

Experience designing for:

1. Digital media
2. Packaging
3. Print collateral
4. eCommerce
5. Social media
6. In-store displays
7. Working knowledge of UX/UI design principles and digital design best practices.
8. Experience creating design systems, mockups, prototypes, and production-ready assets.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite:

1. Photoshop
2. Illustrator
3. InDesign
4. Acrobat
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
6. Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and time management skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience designing complete visual systems and brand identity programs.
2. Strong strategic communication and integrative thinking skills.
3. Digital product design experience.
4. Experience collaborating with UX designers and software development teams.
5. Familiarity with AI-enabled design tools for rapid prototyping, concept generation, and design iteration.
6. Understanding of print production processes and packaging feasibility.
7. Experience in the beauty, consumer products, or retail industry is a plus.
