Job Duties:
Crops: Soybeans, Corn
Drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors, ATVs, and self-propelled machinery to till soil, prepare fields, and plant crops; Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on farm vehicles, implements, and equipment; Set up and operate irrigation equipment, including laying pipes, maintaining ditches, and ensuring adequate water supply to crops; Apply fertilizers to crops using hand sprayers and other equipment; Conduct regular crop inspections to monitor growth, pest activity, and plant health; Plant seeds and seedlings using various planting techniques and equipment, including seed planters; Harvest crops using machinery or by hand, ensuring proper handling to maintain quality; Load and unload harvested crops into trucks or storage containers, maintaining organization and efficiency; Store and pack crops for transportation, preparing them for market or storage facilities; Transport harvested crops to storage facilities, operating trucks and conveyors as needed; Monitor grain moisture levels and assist with grain handling, including loading and unloading grain bins; Clean and maintain storage areas and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency; Perform general farm labor tasks as needed, including landscaping, clearing debris, and maintaining farm grounds; Assist with the disposal of spoiled grain and manage grain inventory as directed; Report any machinery malfunctions or operational issues to supervisors.

There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. Workers may be asked, but are not required, to work on their Sabbath.
Must be able to lift at least 80 lbs.
Must have or be able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire.
Must have knowledge and experience working with South-American Germplasm for both soybean and corn.
Must be able to operate tractors, combines, and mudmuster self-propelled sprayer and/or backpack sprayer with proper safety equipment.
Work is to be done for long periods of time in the field, when plants may be wet with dew and rain, and may be required during light rain, snow, moderate winds, direct sun, high humidity and extreme temperatures.
Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, insect spray, related chemicals, etc. may affect workers ability to perform the job.
Workers must be able to perform the required work with or without reasonable accommodations.
Job will require exposure to extreme temperatures.
Extensive pushing and pulling is required.
Extensive walking or sitting is required.
Frequent stooping or bending over is required.
Repetitive movements are required.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Full Time
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
