Environmental Air Quality Engineer - Ambient Air Monitoring Team

Clean Air Engineering (CleanAir) is a leading global environmental engineering and consulting

company, in business since 1972. CleanAir’s Air Quality Monitoring Services team, located in

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has an immediate opening for a full-time, entry-level Environmental

Air Quality Engineer to support the growth of its ambient air monitoring services business.

The candidate must hold a degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sciences, or a

related field. The successful applicant will work closely with project managers to implement

specific project tasks and will be part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in a

flexible work environment.

The position will involve the following key responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and implementation of next-generation ambient air and fugitive
  emissions measurement systems, or a network of such systems.
  
• Analyze, interpret, and report monitoring data.
• Contribute to the development of new services and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience
• Mechanical aptitude with a curiosity to tinker
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel to project sites both in the U.S. and internationally
• Experience with air monitoring instrumentation
• Familiarity with using hand tools and voltmeters
