As an Economics Chart Analysis Expert, you will play a crucial role in evaluating AI model performance on economics-related problems. This position involves creating and reviewing technical tasks that utilize economic charts, econometric outputs, policy figures, and time-series plots. You will be responsible for producing original problem sets, writing reference solutions, and conducting structured quality checks to ensure accuracy and clarity.

• Author, review, and annotate technical tasks for AI model evaluation.
• Produce original problem sets based on economic charts and econometric data.
• Write clear reference solutions for the created tasks.
• Apply structured quality checks to maintain high standards of output.

• PhD in Economics, or MS/MA in Economics with 3+ years of applied, policy, or teaching experience, or BA/BS in Economics with 5+ years of applied, industry, or research experience.
• Working fluency in at least two of the following areas: microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, industrial organization, labor economics, or development economics.
• Ability to read and interpret economic charts, econometric outputs, policy figures, and time-series plots.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.

This is a part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The role is fully remote and compensated hourly.

The starting rate is $75 per hour, with opportunities for promotion based on task quality and throughput.
