About The Role & Program

Join us for the opportunity to intern with our Production Management teams at Disney Branded Television (DBT)! We are a unit of Disney Entertainment Television which oversees development and production of animated content geared towards kids, teens and families for Disney+ and Disney Channel/Disney Jr. linear networks. We encourage teamwork, learning and development while striving to keep our creative output top in class. This is a full-time internship, and the approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through December 2026. If selected for this opportunity, you will report directly to the Line Producer.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will support the Animation Production teams within production management for Disney Television Animation. You will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with our slate of projects and be exposed to the life cycle of them from development through the various stages of production. The role will also allow you to see firsthand the various step of an animation project but will also allow for exposure projects being created in various mediums within Animation, including CG, 2D and Harmony.

This internship will be in conjunction with the studio production records team. Allowing for an understanding of how animated projects are conceptualized through the voice record process.

Some Responsibilities That You Will Help With Include

  • Audio Record services
    • Circle Takes
    • Material Management
    • Uploading scripts, memos
    • Record Studio Administrative set up
    • Craft Services

  • Partner with Studio Record Manager and Supervisor
  • Updating and maintaining tracking grids and weekly reports
  • Note-taking in team and project meetings
  • Assisting with meeting agendas
  • Assisting with basic admin duties i.e., scheduling meetings and crew events
  • Will be assigned various projects within the digital library as it pertains to archival materials and analysis projects that may be specific to the Production Record workflow.
  • Working in software databases such as Excel, Airtable, Ftrack and deliverable checklists.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Interest in the production of Television Animation

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous education or experience in a related field (TV Animation or Games, including Pre-production and Production)
  • Prior administrative experience is a plus
  • Experience working in Airtable is a plus

Education

  • Senior year preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 through December 2026
  • Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm PT for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Glendale, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
