Summary: The Director of Youth Ministries will cultivate a vital community for youth to grow in faith and life. Our youth ministry is an important part of our church community and thus is integrated into the mission and ministry of the whole church. The Youth Director will be a contributing member of our collaborative staff team and work with our Children and Family Director as well as our Music Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Youth Director is responsible to recruit and support a team of adult Youth Sponsors who will work together to provide:
· Youth Group gatherings
· Faith formation classes such as Sunday School, Bible study, Confirmation
· Activities (special events, retreats, programs, mission activities)
· Summer mission trips
· Fundraising
· Youth Sunday worship service
Qualifications:
We are looking for a person who is passionate about and dedicated to helping youth mature as people of faith by being a positive spiritual leader and mentor.

· Love for youth and understanding of their developmental stages
· Able to relate to diverse people, including neuro-divergent youth and those exploring their identities
· Strong communication skills; verbal, written, and digital
· A team player who is willing to collaborate with the youth, staff, and church community
· Organization and attention to detail
· Can nurture a loving community which creates space for each person to thrive

Compensation: $20,000-24,000 annually for this part-time position, depending on experience and education.
