Job Description

Are you a highly motivated Database Administrator fluent in German? EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team driving complex enterprise projects.

What You'll Do:

• Installation, configuration and operation of an Oracle DBMS in the development environment of the Contractor;
• Installation, configuration and operation of an Oracle Client;
• Installation, configuration and operation of Oracle GoldenGate;
• Monitoring of the Oracle components used;
• Creation of replication groups;
• Diagnosis of cluster and interconnect errors;
• Backup and restore of Oracle RMAN;
• SQL optimisation, troubleshooting and resource management;
• Ensuring data integrity, data security and data performance;
• Planning and performance of release changes for the continuous optimisation of the database;
• Advising and supporting the development team on database-related questions;

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of database structure and theory
• Expert knowledge of database optimisation and performance tuning
• Expert knowledge of database management systems (e.g. Oracle , MySQL )
• Expert knowledge of Oracle cluster technology ( RAC )
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate
• Expert knowledge of disaster recovery and database backup procedures
• In-depth knowledge of the operating systems ( Windows , Linux )
• At least 5 years of demonstrable practical experience;
• Based in Germany;
• Fluent command of oral and written German ( level C2 required ) and English at a sufficient level;
