OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE

We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.

THE TEAM

As part of our Banquets team, you will work closely with the Banquets Captain and fellow Food & Beverage professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences for meetings, celebrations, receptions, and special events. Our team is dedicated to providing intuitive, personalized service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

YOUR ROLE

As a Banquet Server, you will play an important role in creating memorable guest experiences through the professional delivery of food and beverage service at banquet and private dining functions. You will ensure event spaces are prepared to the highest standards, anticipate guest needs, and provide attentive, courteous service throughout each event. Working collaboratively with colleagues across Food & Beverage operations, you will help ensure every function is executed seamlessly and reflects our commitment to luxury hospitality.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

  • Prepare banquet rooms, tables, linens, equipment, and service stations according to event requirements and service standards.
  • Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and deliver attentive, personalized service throughout each function.
  • Take and serve beverage orders, including alcoholic beverages, wine, champagne, and specialty coffee, in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally while maintaining exceptional presentation standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and resolve concerns to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned service areas before, during, and after events.
  • Support buffet setups, coffee breaks, receptions, and other banquet functions, ensuring all areas remain replenished and well-presented.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and preparing for future events.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

  • You have experience delivering food and beverage service in an upscale restaurant, banquet, or luxury hospitality environment.
  • You are passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest service standards.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues and enjoy working as part of a team.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
  • You demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and a strong commitment to responsible alcohol service.
  • You are comfortable using point-of-sale systems and handling transactions accurately when required.
  • You can work independently with minimal supervision while consistently following established procedures and standards.
  • You are able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads as part of daily operations.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
