Job Description

Salary: $99,450 - 143,750 per year Requirements:

• 3 years of experience with C/C++
• 1 year of experience in designing and developing software for Real-Time or Non-Real-Time systems
• 3 years of experience in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• 1 year of experience in Safety or Flight Critical Software Development
• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution
• Current Secret clearance (preferred)
• Familiarity with real-time embedded software and Agile Software development
• Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, JSSSEH, DO-178C
• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with VX Works or other Real-Time Operating Systems
• Knowledge of fault tolerance, signal processing, or control system design
• Proficiency with tools such as Git

• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems
• Create and sustain code, integrating software components into a cohesive functional system
• Develop software development plans, verification strategies, test procedures, and test environments
• Execute test protocols and document results to verify that software requirements are met
• Provide technical guidance for software projects
• Assist in generating and maintaining software processes, tools, and metrics
• Act as a subject matter expert in software domains and system-specific issues
• Monitor and assess the software team to ensure adherence to project plans and industry standards
• Train and mentor team members
